All big cat species are endangered, at last. Loss of habitat, poaching, etc. making life and survival in the wild a lot harder for them. But even in captivity, mankind seems to be no help: Too small enclosures and/or inappropriate keeping leads often to confiscation.

The Tigerranch's goal is to provide a shelter for abandoned big cats. It's a project, that lives mainly from donations.
